On August 26,2019 the DEA affirms hemp’s new status, sends notice to state and local law enforcement and governments that the HEMP plant is legal. They have done so because Hemp businesses are finding difficulties with state local law enforcement.
This should send a clear message to the North Carolina Republican lawmakers that are trying Bully a Bill through to change the definition of Hemp to Marijuana so that they can benefit financially from the proceeds of the Edward Byrne Grant, to leave the HEMP plant alone and citizens that purchase, possesses and use HEMP!
Do not vote to change the definition of HEMP to Marijuana in order to receive federal grant money!
