This process of Organizing Crime has been around for decades and it’s currently happening in States all around the country in 2019 within the Hemp Industry. Currently in North Carolina House of Representative leader Jimmy Dixon and team are literally CREATING A NEW CATEGORY OF CRIME – the possession and sale of hemp flower, despite being legal under Federal Law!
Representative Dixon, from Duplin county, the same county where the state’s first Hemp Entrepreneur began his business on a farm outside of Wallace, NC (The Hempleton Group) is pushing his weight around in the House. Representative Dixon has been lobbied by state and local law enforcement, including associations of the SBI, NC Sheriffs Association, NC Chief of Police Association, & NC District Attorneys Association, are “organizing” a new category of crime, in spite of current Federal Law. These associations will benefit financially from arrests of citizens in possession of Hemp flower through Federal Grant money distributed by the Byrne Grant

So what is the definition of ORGANIZED CRIME
Creating a New Category of Crime by Duplin County Representative Dixon is what is going on in the North Carolina House of Representatives – backed by local law enforcement, including associations of the SBI, NC Sheriffs Association, NC Chief of Police Association, & NC District Attorneys in spite of current Federal Law.
A lawsuit has been filed against the Indiana governor regarding a new law that criminalizes “smokable” hemp.
Sure hope that the Angry Old White Man Politicians in NC face a similar lawsuit!
We have customers that cook with their Hemp Flowers with Hemp Butter, Hemp Oil, Hemp Tincture and Hemp Kief. So now if this Organized Crime Bill goes through NC citizens will not be able to possess their Hemp Flowers for cooking either!
